Atty. Sol is the Dean of the College of Law of the Lyceum of the Philippines University (Makati and Cavite campuses). She is also the founding partner of the Gatchalian Castro & Mawis Law Office. She handles criminal and civil litigation.
On various occasions, television and radio stations invited her to comment on legal and social concerns. She was one of the legal commentators of DZMM during the Corona impeachment.
Dean Sol is also a bar examinations reviewer for persons and family relations, evidence, and civil procedure. She was a member of the panel of experts for the post validation of the remedial law bar examinations of the 2011 bar examination and the UP Law Center’s post validation bar examination in remedial law for the 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 bar examinations.
She was a member of the technical working group for the revision of the 1997 Rules on Civil Procedure.
