Atty. Mary Christine S.C. Florete is an active arbitration practitioner. She currently handles commercial and construction arbitration cases filed in the different institutions around the Philippines. She is an accredited arbitration practitioner under the Office of the Alternative Dispute Resolution of the Department of Justice where she is accredited to offer arbitration services to the government.

She is also an accredited tribunal secretary at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) and has received further SIAC Arbitration training at the National University of Singapore. She is an accredited arbitrator of the Philippine International Center for Conflict Resolution (PICCR). She is also connected with the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc. (PDRCI) as trained arbitrator and accredited File Counsel and Tribunal Secretary. She is both active in the arbitration field either as counsel and as tribunal secretary and file counsel as well. She has also served as the consultant of the Moot Team of the West Visayas State University and is currently a professor teaching Arbitration Law in the same university. She also conducts policy research on international commercial arbitration for foreign arbitrators active in the ICC, SIAC and ICDR. Her disputes handled involve construction, intra-corporate controversies and general contractual disputes.

Aside from her arbitration practice, she an active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners or the world’s foremost anti-fraud organization with over 100,000 members operating in 180 countries dedicated to reducing fraud and white collar crime through education, training, certification and providing resources to its members. She hails from from Iloilo City and is a graduate of University of Iloilo College of Law. She loves reading and plays NBA 2K24 on her Nintendo Switch during her free time.
